ABOUT US

About the Artist: Susie Klingberg’s Artistic Journey

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Germany, I spent years experimenting with acrylics, oils, and large scale painting long before it ever became a career. When my family moved to Florida in 2010, my passion quickly found a new home. What started with painting theme rooms and murals in our own house soon turned into requests from neighbors, schools, and local businesses, and in 2012, RoomSparkles was officially born.

More than 20 years of painting and over 1,000 projects later, I still love what I do every single day. My work spans large scale murals, theme rooms, commercial and public spaces, faux finishes, and custom canvas paintings. While I'm based in Central Florida, I regularly travel across the country for projects, so no matter where you're located, don't hesitate to reach out. Some of my favorite pieces can be seen around Orlando, including several large murals at the Artway Gallery at ICON Park.

Every project is freehand painted. No projectors, no stencils, no templates. That means the only limit is imagination. I take the time to truly get to know each client, listening to their vision and creating something completely personal, from the first sketch to the final brushstroke. Because everything stays in one set of hands, the result is exactly what you envisioned.

To me, it's never just about delivering an art project. It's about delivering happiness, a smile, and beautiful surroundings that last for years to come.

About the Room Sparkles Studio: Philosophy & Process

RoomSparkles is built on the principle that every space deserves more than generic décor—it deserves a story. Susie’s philosophy is simple: Art should be immersive, personal, and never duplicated. That’s why every mural, from residential pool enclosures in Eustis to grand-scale commissions for Amazon warehouses in Las Vegas, is sketched and painted entirely by hand—never with projectors or templates. The studio’s 'no project too big or small' model means RoomSparkles is as comfortable designing dreamy nurseries as executing $30,000+ commercial projects. Susie’s process is consultative and adaptive: she listens to each client’s vision, offers creative direction for those who need guidance, and is known for adding personal touches—like memorializing loved ones within a mural. Her dedication to community shines through in pro bono work for local schools and fire stations, reflecting a brand built on trust and neighborly pride. As RoomSparkles transitions to the digital stage, the mission remains constant: to deliver transformative, hand-painted environments that become landmarks in homes, businesses, and public spaces across Central Florida and beyond.

FAQS

About RoomSparkles: FAQs on the Artist & Studio & Process

  • Do you work with both homes and businesses?

Absolutely, we as well serve public institutions, cities and anyone who needs more art in their life.

  • Where do you provide services?

While located in Central Florida, I frequently travel for work and am open to discuss projects out of state anytime.

  • How does the process start?

Every project starts with a free consultation—either on-site or virtually. We’ll talk through your space, your goals, your style, and what you want the mural to feel like. You can bring inspiration images, or we can help you shape the concept from scratch.

  • How much does a project cost?

Pricing varies based on size, location, detail level, surface conditions, and complexity. Instead of listing “one-size-fits-all” prices, we provide custom quotes after understanding your vision. Reach out for a free consultation and we’ll give you clear options.

  • Do you share pricing on the website?

We don’t list set prices because every project is unique. Our goal is to avoid sticker shock and create a plan that fits your space, scope, and expectations—starting with a free consultation.

  • How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the work. Smaller pieces can move quickly, while larger theme rooms or commercial murals require more time. During your consultation, we’ll outline a realistic schedule.

  • Are you available evenings or weekends?

We’re available by appointment and can accommodate projects outside standard hours when needed—especially for businesses that prefer off-hours work.

  • Do you offer free consultations?

Yes—consultations are free and can be done on-site or virtually. It’s the best way to talk through ideas, see the space, and plan the right approach.

  • Can you work from my inspiration photos?

Absolutely. We encourage inspiration images and references. We’ll use them to understand what you like, then create an original design that fits your space.

  • Do you take on community or pro bono projects?

Occasionally, yes—depending on the organization and the scope. If you have a community project in mind, reach out and tell us about it.
